He, however, said Indian army is prepared to deal with any situation. "We have reactivated the Counter infiltration posts along the Line of Control (LoC). These posts are being left unattended by the Indian army during the harsh winter months. We have also increased our deployment along the LoC and are repairing the damaged border fencing to thwart any attempt by militants to sneak into Kashmir," he said adding, "8, AK 47/56 rifles, one pistol, 3 UBGL grenades, 5 hand grenades, 1 GPS, 3 Thuraya set, 5 ICOM, 5 mobile phone, 3 map sheets, 2 matrix sheet, 1 binocular (high resolution), Indian currency 98, 000 out of which Rs 50,000 is fake were recovered from the slain militants".

Singh said the militants have changed their strategy and are now working in close coordination. "The Lashkar, Hizbul Mujahideen and other militants are working in tandem. The militants who were recently killed in the Keran sector belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba, Hizbul Mujahideen and Harkat-ul-Mujahideen," he said.
